At Rijks Digital Marketing Agency we are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ambition to set up a team. You are responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies and help our customers to achieve online success. We have great ambitions and are looking for an SEO Specialist who wants to grow into a lead position in the long term to further expand the team. 

Your role:

  • Creation and implementation of relevant SEO strategies
  • Keyword research and competitor analysis
  • Collaborate with content creators to improve the quality of content and copywriting
  • Digital PR & outreach, building strong online brands and link profiles
  • Ecommerce SEO, international SEO and local SEO
  • Perform technical audits to improve pagespeed, crawlability, sitespeed & user experience
  • Performance analysis and dashboarding, monitoring and analyzing SEO performance and reporting to clients

What we are looking for:

  • At least 2 years of experience as an SEO Specialist, experience within an agency on the client side is an advantage (but not a requirement)
  • Excellent knowledge of SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs and SEMrush
  • You have (basic) knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and can collaborate with developers
  • Experience working with CMS systems (such as WordPress, Shopify, ContentStack & Drupal)
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
  • Experience with technical SEO including migrations and creating technical audits
  • Good communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Commercial mindset, someone who sees opportunities for both our customers and Rijks and converts them into concrete actions for growth
